Well it’s official Amare Stoudemire will miss tonight game against Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic. However, that is not even the end of it our STAT will miss the next 2-4 weeks in the season due to a bulging disk in his back. The antagonist to the Knicks playoff hopes last year. So reassuringly we can see that Amare will be out until the playoffs so Knicks fan lets hope Linsanity will rise up again during this time of need.


Spotlight On Anthony

After receiving news of Amare Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin sitting this game out, the Knicks found themselves a game and a half in front of the Milwaukee Bucks  for the eighth spot in the playoffs. The Knicks have gotten back to their winning ways after they lose to the Toronto Raptors ending their sixth game winning streak. Tonight we seen a different side of Carmelo Anthony the one Knicks fan really enjoyed. Anthony finished the night with 28 points and 12 rebounds a monster performance. New York will try and continue to pursue their playoff hopes with a game against Orlando on the 28th. I don’t know what Mike Woodson put in the water but they better keep Mike’s secret stuff.

Now the real test for the Knicks  is going to be tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. Mike woodson takes his newly reformed New York Knicks on a four game winning streak to try and defeat the Atlantic divisin leading 76ers. Will we se the same New York Knick defense that has been their previous opponents by 12 points or more. Knicks defense have beefed up and they are ready to prove a point in the NBA and Jeremy Lin and Carmelo Anthony are leading the charge. So tune in tonight game time begins at 7pm, Let’s get excited for our Knicks.

Holding Their Own

The Knicks played a stellar game against the Orlando Magic tonight. Slightly gaining ground on the division leading 76ers by 2.5 games. The Knicks got contributions from Carmelo Anthony and Iman Shumpert both scoring 25 points helping the Knicks rout the Magic 108-86. Steve Novak also contributed by adding 16 points off the bench. The Knicks scored an incredible 21 straight points on there way to blowing out the Magic. The Knicks are now above 500. and are clicking very well under coach Mike Woodson.

New Era Starting Well

Now that intern head coach Mike Woodson took over the Knicks are paying way better defense and are clearly functioning way better since mike D’Antoni had “resigned.” The Knicks have beat team by more than 10 points at each of these games. They are now 3-0 and going. The Knicks are still fighting for their playoff life but there is still hope and real Knicks fans will hold on and bare with us.

Well Jeremy Lin was shown up by Deron Williams, next Rajon Rondo and hopefully the same thing wont happen when the Knicks go and challenge the Dallas Mavericks. The last time they faced off the Knicks pulled off the monster comeback and defeated the defending champions. The Knicks are currently in 8th seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race. If the Knicks needed to win it’s now!!!!
